Nina Just (Marlene Morreis) is a presenter at a sales station, but she can do whatever she wants, she never gets the approval of her mother Rose (Hannelore Elsner). Rose lives with her partner Werner (Günther Maria Halmer) in an old farmhouse just outside of Munich. When Rose falls ill and needs a donor kidney, Nina’s private life falls into complete chaos. Surprisingly, Nina develops a love story with the breakdown helper Mike (Matthias Kelle) between dramatic lies and comical skipping actions.

as dr Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) wakes up from a coma after a serious car accident, his life is upside down: his wife no longer recognizes him, another man has taken his identity and a killer is chasing him. Harris begins to question his sanity. In order to win back his wife and his old life, he tracks down the taxi driver (Diane Kruger) who saved him in the accident. She and former Stasi agent Jürgen (Bruno Ganz) are his only allies in the fight for his identity against an overwhelming opponent.
