A body found in Jardelunder Moor on the German-Danish border causes inspector Jana Winter (Natalia Wörner) and her team a headache. The dead person is identified as 19-year-old Nele Wagner, who is suspected by her parents to be on a backpacker trip to Norway with her friend Jennifer (Bianca Nawrath). However, there is no trace of Jennifer at first. Investigators find out that Nele worked for a porn chat channel.

The team embarks on a life-threatening mission that leads directly to the interior of the planet.

Nature is full of magical moments, but all too often they escape our notice. With the help of state-of-the-art camera technology, the fascinating film makes visible what has never been seen and celebrates the magic of the moment. For example, when a kingfisher rises out of the water in super slow motion after a successful dive, a crab spider finds a pigeon tail looking for nectar in its sights, or a peregrine falcon – the fastest bird in the world – hunts starlings.

Carl Mørck (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) and his assistant Assad (Fares Fares) are confronted with a gruesome crime scene: workmen have found three mummified bodies in an abandoned apartment. The dead are sitting at a set table, where a fourth, free seat is waiting for another guest. Who are the victims and who is the place for? The trail leads investigators to a women’s clinic on a deserted island.
