Pressure, drama… Clémence played a decisive role during the reunification

And in the end, it’s Coumba who toasts. Yes, at 20 minutes, we spoil from the first line but we have to understand each other: when we witness so many twists and turns in a single episode of Koh Lanta, There’s no time to lose. In this eighth episode, which was the opportunity for the Yellows and the Reds to meet again, Clémence won the battle of negotiations between ambassadors by managing to eliminate the one in whom she no longer trusted.

“It’s never fun”

However, it was quickly necessary to think about the strategy to adopt and the name to give. Minutes before the Council of Ambassadors kicked off, the two-time winner didn’t even know she would be on it. If she initially hesitated between Christelle and Coumba, the choice finally fell on the one who “had a much more vague role”, she explains to 20 minutes. “She was not clearly positioned in one camp or the other,” said Clémence, referring to the women’s coalition and the alliance led by Claude.

“When you lose, you need a culprit and it’s always the leader,” Coumba laments in the episode broadcast on Tuesday. “No, I did not vote against Coumba because she initiated the movement of the alliance of girls”, swears Clémence on her side. What stuck in her throat was rather the feeling of injustice that the candidate felt when Coumba did not take her defense, nor that of Candice and Clémentine, when Claude accused them of want to eliminate the strongest. “I resented him a little for that,” she confides.

While she has already participated in three seasons and three reunifications, Clémence had never been appointed ambassador. “I had the feeling that I had the same pressure as when I won the posts in 2005 and that I had to choose the finalist who was going to accompany me,” she said. It’s a choice that ends someone’s adventure so even if there is competition and strategies, it’s never fun. “

One victory and two immunities in hand

After Coumba’s departure came the hour for the first individual immunity test. In apnea, Loïc had to come and get Clémence underwater to tell her that she had beaten her opponents. Holder of an amulet immunizing her, the adventurer already had nothing to fear when she received the totem from the hands of Denis Brogniart. The host did not fail to inform her that she could pass this amulet on to one or one of her comrades who would then be untouchable on the council.

“I hesitated to do it, remembers Clémence. I come back, I win this immunity test, I tell myself that maybe it’s time for me to make myself a little smaller. The candidate then took the time to reflect: at the last advice, all the Yellows had voted against her. The Reds should stay together. And after being told about it by Ugo, she is also not part of the boys’ alliance. “At some point, you have to try not to regret anything and try a game of poker to be the grain of sand in the shoes of other candidates and move the lines,” she reasoned.

If no pact has been sealed between the former participants of the 4 Lands, Alexandra, Alix and Loïc were close to each other. “Why don’t I get closer to them?” It could make me allies for the future and try to create a new alliance thanks to that, ”thinks Clémence.

The fatal vote against Namadia

Close to Alexandra whom she had “appreciated a lot in the girls’ camp”, Clémence then tries to turn the situation around by donating her amulet to Alix. At the same time, the three girls vote against Namadia, already handicapped by a ballot in her name because of her defeat in the immunity test. “Alix: not counted”, Denis Brogniart repeated seven times before extinguishing the torch of Namadia. “I had nothing against him, he’s a very nice person and really jovial. His only fault is to have a vote against him because of the previous event, ”admits Clémence who had no other reason to bring out the one who had participated in Koh-Lanta: Malaysia in 2012.

Registered for the fourth time in the game of TF1, Clémence wanted to “take risks, fully experience the adventure and play” unlike her previous seasons during which we saw her more withdrawn. Without a doubt, the double winner will have lived a different journey this year. But where will it stop? This is the question that arises when we hear Coumba, not quite eliminated from the adventure thanks to the return from the island of the banished, claim to be eager to “beat it up” and “take it down” . After Koh-Lanta: The legend, will we see Koh-Lanta: Revenge ?
