Police arrest two Premier League professionals over rape allegations

Two unnamed English Premier League professionals are being investigated for rape and assault. According to media reports, they were briefly arrested last weekend.
According to English media reports, two 19-year-old football professionals from the Premier League were briefly arrested last weekend on suspicion of rape and aiding and abetting. That’s what they report “Sun” and “Daily Mail” as well as the broadcaster BBC.
Premier League players belong to the same club
A police spokesman confirmed the unnamed players had been arrested. One was questioned on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting rape. His teammate was arrested and questioned on suspicion of rape. Both are free on bail. They should belong to the same club.
