What’s next for Thomas Tuchel after this season? The Bayern coach is said to have aroused interest from a top English club.
The 50-year-old football teacher has already had initial contact with the English record champions, according to the report. Accordingly, United co-owner James Ratcliffe asked Tuchel in the event of head coach Erik ten Hag being kicked out. The Bayern coach initially wants to concentrate on the remaining games with Munich.
Tuchel will leave Bayern early at the end of this season. He had refused to change his mind despite the club’s recent entry into the semi-finals of the Champions League and the club’s so far unsuccessful search for a successor. “I have an agreement with the club that has been communicated and stands,” said Tuchel.
Ten Hag has not yet been able to meet expectations at Manchester United. As seventh in the Premier League, the Red Devils are in danger of missing out on qualifying for the Champions League. In the premier class this season, the end came after the preliminary round.
