Premier League: Liverpool win 9-0 – Haaland shoots hat trick – Sport

With a goal gala, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp has forgotten the mixed start to the season in the Premier League. The Reds dismantled newly promoted AFC Bournemouth 9-0 (5-0) on Saturday. Thanks to their first win of the season, the German coach’s team is in the middle of the table with five points.

The outstanding player of the game was the former Hoffenheim Firmino. The Brazilian set up goals from Luis Diaz (3rd minute), Harvey Elliott (6th) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (28th) and scored two goals himself (31st/62nd). Virgil van Dijk (45th), Chris Mepham (46th / own goal), Fábio Carvalho (80th) and again Diaz (85th) made the very high victory perfect.

Thanks to a hat-trick by Erling Haaland within 19 minutes, Manchester City turned the game 4-2 (0-2) against Crystal Palace. An own goal by John Stones (4th) and Joachim Andersen (21st) put Pep Guardiola’s side 2-0 down at the break. Bernardo Silva (53rd) and ex-Dortmunder Haaland (62nd/70th/81st) with his four, five and six goals of the season ensured the third win of the season.

Without the suspended Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea FC drew 2-1 (0-0) against Leicester City. England international Raheem Sterling (47th/63rd) scored for the Blues for the first time. Chelsea had to play outnumbered for about an hour because Conor Gallagher saw the yellow-red card. Wesley Fofana, who is about to move to the Tuchel team, was missing from the guests.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is slowly finding its way into the season. After his triumph over Liverpool FC (2-1) at the beginning of the week, the English football record champion also won at FC Southampton on Saturday and celebrated the 1-0 (0-0) victory for the second win of the season in the fourth game. Portuguese Bruno Fernandes (55th) scored the only goal against team manager Ralph Hasenhüttl’s team. Fernandes’ compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, who is said to have been desperately exploring exchange options for weeks, came on in the 68th minute for ex-Dortmunder Jadon Sancho. Recent rumors from Italy revolve around a possible transfer of Ronaldo to SSC Napoli.
