Manchester City has been waiting for a win in the Premier League for four games. The defending champions lost to Aston Villa. Liverpool coach Klopp thinks writing off Guardiola’s team is stupid.

Despite Manchester City’s four winless Premier League games in a row, Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp warned that the defending champions would no longer be counted among the championship candidates in England.

“If someone were to write off City then that’s obviously the biggest joke, it doesn’t make any sense,” said Klopp after his team’s 2-0 win at bottom side Sheffield United.

City lost 1-0 to Aston Villa in the day’s top game and slipped to fourth place in the table. Aston Villa is third with two points more than coach Pep Guardiola’s team. Arsenal FC are at the top, with Liverpool in second place with two points less. City are currently six points behind Arsenal.
