Regarding a video in which the German coach of Chelsea FC cheered past him after the 2-1 win, the Tottenham Hotspur coach wrote on Instagram on Monday night: “Luckily I didn’t see you… your leg to ask would have been well deserved…” He captioned this with three laughing smileys.

Both coaches had seen the red card because of their dispute after the 2-2 draw in the London derby. When the two shook hands after the final whistle, they would not let go at first, yelled at each other and had to be separated. “No one was insulted, we didn’t have a fistfight. It’s not a big deal for me, it was part of this game. I enjoyed it, I think he did too. It wasn’t bad,” said Tuchel.

Opponent Conte suggested that he and Tuchel should simply refrain from shaking hands next time. “He stays on his bench, I stay on my bench with my colleagues on one side and there is no problem,” said the Italian. He hopes that he and Tuchel will not be banned from their next games because of the scenes.
