Predator: Acer is launching two new OLED monitors with 39 and 34 inches

While the new OLED monitors in 16:9 format with 32 and 27 inches will be celebrating their premiere at many manufacturers at CES 2024, Acer is concentrating on wide OLED monitors with 39 and 34 inch diagonals in a 21:9 aspect ratio when introducing new products. which offer a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.

39 and 34 inches with 3,440 × 1,440 pixels

Both the Predator X39 with a 39-inch display diagonal and the Predator X34 Both monitors also support AMD FreeSync Premium, but Acer is not talking about G-Sync compatibility at the launch. In addition, both models are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, meaning they achieve at least a spot brightness of 400 cd/m². According to Acer, 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space is covered. Both monitors are heavily curved at 800R to increase immersion.

Acer hasn’t given any details about the connections yet, only a USB-C port with DP AltMode and 90 watt power delivery is known so far. Thanks to the integrated KVM switch, several systems can be operated on one monitor with the same mouse and keyboard.

Prices and availability

The Predator X39 is expected to be available from the second quarter of this year at a recommended retail price of 1,499 euros. The Predator X34 X will go on sale at the same time with an RRP of 1,299 euros.

Acer also presented the 57-inch Predator Z57 and 34-inch Predator X34 V3 at CES 2024, both of which use mini-LED displays.
