Power failure in Gröbenzell, Gröbenzell, Puchheim and Emmering – Fürstenfeldbruck

In Gröbenzell, Puchheim and Emmering, residents complain in the morning hours about the consequences of a network failure. It is still unclear how long it will last.

On Friday morning, many residents in the Fürstenfeldbruck district were temporarily left in the dark due to a power outage. “We are currently receiving many calls from Puchheim, Gröbenzell and Emmering,” the Gröbenzell police said a few hours later at around nine o’clock.

According to the network operator Bayernwerk, the power outages have now been remedied by “switching measures”. The first households were supplied with electricity again shortly before 6 a.m., said a spokesman for the electricity provider. Since 7.40 a.m. everyone has been back online. Apparently, the disruption was due to a “cable fault in the Gröbenzell area” at around 4 a.m. “The colleagues are still on the way with the cable measurement” to determine exactly where the error is. About 5,000 households were affected by the disruption.
