Poverty: Aid must be easier to access – Economy

In the meantime, inflation and the energy crisis are driving social groups in Germany to the brink of financial hardship that were previously able to take care of themselves. The lower middle class is in danger of slipping away. The federal government has recognized this and decided on umpteen relief packages, including “double booms”. But this aid is so diverse, not very targeted and complicated that there is a risk that it will not reach those who really need it. In view of the bureaucracy and complexity, these people could give up even before the application.
