Possible human remains discovered again in a drain

Possible human remains were discovered again on Monday evening in the pipes of a building located in Saint-Priest, near Lyon. Seeing that his toilet was clogged, one of the residents contacted a plumbing company, reveals BFM. Once there, the professionals pulled out two pieces resembling a jawbone.

Analyzes are underway to determine if they are indeed human remains. The judicial police have been seized of the investigation. It is still too early to know if this macabre discovery is linked to the death of young Mohamed.

A precedent on January 17

Several parts of his body were found on January 17 in a pipe in another building in Saint-Priest, where the suspect’s parents reside. Aged 28, the latter is “known and treated for psychiatric disorders”, according to a statement released at the time by the Lyon prosecutor’s office. Indicted for murder at the end of his police custody, the young man denied the facts “while making increasingly incoherent remarks”.

On February 1, Mohamed’s family and friends organized a white march to honor him. The teenager was about to turn 17. The circumstances of his death remain unclear. He could have crossed paths with the suspect on his way to work.
