Popular NFT marketplace LookRare launches v2 with reduced fees from 2% to 0.5%

LooksRare can market NFT.UpgradeIt’s version 2, along with a 75% reduction in fees and the introduction of other features, according to the company’s announcement on April 6.

The LookRare version 1 platform charges a 2% fee per trade. This is now reduced to 0.5% in v2. There is also a gas saving of about 30% compared to the previous version.

The company explains that in v2, sellers get Ether instead of Wrapped Ether (WETH) for most sales, and also have smart contracts that allow bulk purchases and sales. If users want to trade multiple transactions at the same time, aggregators can now use custom recipients. This allows users to purchase NFTs with one wallet and then transfer them to another.

Sellers can also list their NFTs for sale at the token price instead of ETH, including the fixed US dollar price paid in ETH equivalent.
