She just released a new studio album and isn’t thinking about stopping: Kylie Minogie can’t get enough of music.

Pop star Kylie Minogue considers herself a workaholic. That’s why the Australian singer (“Padam Padam”, “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”) has never taken a long break during her music career that has spanned more than three decades, including a health-related break due to cancer treatment in the 2000s years onwards. The 55-year-old loves her job. “It’s also my hobby,” Minogue told the German Press Agency in London. “It’s endlessly stimulating.”

She started her career as an actress (in the TV series “Neighbors”). “But I think music was always the predetermined path for me and my destiny,” said Minogue, who just released her 16th studio album “Tension” and is about to begin a series of concerts in Las Vegas. “Especially now that I have so much to do with work – would I like to have a week off? Yes! But no, I’ve never allowed myself a long break, just very short breaks.”

Kylie Minogue is currently single. However, she is surrounded by people who care about her. “They tell me: ‘Take care of yourself, don’t forget that you’re only human.’ I’m aware of that and try to take care of myself. It’s just such an exciting time right now, so I’m trying to cope with everything Keeping up. Overall, though, I feel good. And yes, I can definitely say that I’m kind of a workaholic.”
