The Canadian had announced 20 concerts for this year and next. But nothing will come of it. She is ill and cannot go on stage – which she very much regrets.

Canadian singer Celine Dion (55) has canceled all dates of her “Courage World Tour” in Europe for health reasons. “I’m so sorry to disappoint you all again,” Dion wrote on Twitter on Friday. “But while it breaks my heart, it’s best if we cancel everything until I’m ready to be on stage again. I’m not giving up and I can’t wait to see you guys again.”

Among the more than 20 concerts throughout Europe in 2023 and 2024, 5 in Germany are canceled: on March 19, 2023 in Cologne, on March 21, 2024 in Berlin, on March 23, 2024 in Munich, on March 31, 2024 in Hamburg and on April 2, 2024 in Mannheim. Tickets would be refunded, ticket holders should contact the advance booking offices where they bought them.

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer had already completed the North America part of the “Courage World Tour” when the corona pandemic broke out and the tour had to be paused from March 2020. Dion later shared that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called stiff person syndrome. She suffers from muscle cramps and sometimes has trouble walking and singing.

Dion released her album Courage in November 2019. In total, Dion has sold more than 250 million albums worldwide and is one of the most successful musicians of her generation.
