We are hearing from Great Britain these days that Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s tendency to party could still be politically fatal. It is said that various celebrations were held here and there, sometimes with him and sometimes without him. Other Britons, on the other hand, should not have celebrated at all during the pandemic. Sometimes Johnson’s feasts are said to have taken place indoors, sometimes outdoors. The dates were not always well chosen, for example when there was a funeral in the royal family at the same time. Johnson then explained that he thought he was attending meetings with business professionals. If he had known these were parties, he wouldn’t have gone at all.
