A teenager is said to have injured a classmate with a firearm at a school in Offenburg, Baden. The injured man was treated by rescue workers, the police said on Thursday. A suspect was arrested on site. The police have not yet commented on the circumstances of the crime. The incident triggered a major operation.
The emergency services have initially ruled out any further danger. The school is currently being evacuated and the students are being looked after by trained staff.
