Police provide unusual numbers of applicants with funny video

The Fort Worth, Texas, police force has no recruiting problems.
And that’s mostly because of this video parody – and maybe a little bit of an Italian car designer.
But first things first. Fort Worth is the 13th largest city in the United States.
Only one thing was missing: applicants for the local police force.
Some officials took on the problem on their own and shot this video in the style of a used car advertisement.
With success.
By last week, the police had already received more than 300 new applications – and the number is growing.
We learn: With humor, even a lack of applicants is a thing of the past.
And maybe the end of the video was able to convince one or the other applicant – an Italian racing car, a dream car that a lucky applicant might be allowed to drive on patrol with. This is how applicant recruitment works today.
