A woman is believed to have been killed in a brothel in an apartment in Berlin. The body of the previously unknown woman was found in the apartment on Monday afternoon, police said. Because of the circumstances and injuries, the police assume a homicide. A homicide detective is investigating.
The 75-year-old landlord of the apartment and a 35-year-old acquaintance reportedly entered the brothel on Monday and found the dead woman. They alerted the police. The body was scheduled for an autopsy on Tuesday. How old the woman was and whether she worked there as a prostitute was initially not disclosed.
