Police check 22 vehicles: “Autoposers” meet in Brunnthal – Munich

70 vehicles, around 100 people – that’s what a patrol from the Ottobrunn police station noticed on Saturday around 9 p.m. in a commercial parking lot in Brunnthal, south of Munich. The officials suspected that it could be a meeting of the so-called “car poser” scene, which in the past has repeatedly seen illegal racing, noise pollution and traffic-endangering behavior.

Therefore the meeting should be controlled. However, before enough patrols from the Upper Bavaria police headquarters and the Munich police force arrived at the scene, the majority of the participants had already left.

The police encountered 22 vehicles and 35 people and were sent off. The officers discovered that a BMW had an exhaust system that was probably not approved. The car was towed away and fine proceedings were initiated against the 23-year-old owner.
