Man abuses pony on horse pasture – police are looking for witnesses

In Lower Saxony, an unknown man abused a pony. Video footage shows the crime. Cases of injured or dead horses are currently increasing in the area.
In the night from Thursday to Friday, a man is said to have sexually assaulted a horse in the municipality of Seevetal (Harburg district), about 25 kilometers from Hamburg. A complaint was filed against the unknown, the police said in a press release.
The incident happened around one o’clock in the morning. The man raised his voice Police on a horse pasture “to create the local mares”. However, he did not remain unobserved, but was filmed by a wildlife camera belonging to the horse owner. The police are currently evaluating the footage. The victim of the attack was an 18-year-old big pony, said the owner of “Bild”. As can be seen from the recordings, the act lasted almost a quarter of an hour.
Police looking for witnesses
The perpetrator used a Rundhold and a wheelbarrow. The animal would not have sustained any external injuries. The police are now looking for a male person with a slim build, bald head and beard. He was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt at the time of the crime. Witnesses who saw suspicious people or vehicles should report to the police.
Recently, cases of injured or even dead horses have been increasing in the area. In July, a mare was found dead with a head injury in a pasture. Since then, several more injured horses have been reported. According to a police press release from a week and a half ago, “it cannot be ruled out that the injuries were caused intentionally.” In the area there is already talk of a “horse ripper” who is up to mischief there.
