Poing: thief steals mobile toilet – Ebersberg

So-called “heist” films rarely have quiet places as a setting. In Ocean’s eight to thirteen, super thieves steal, manipulate and trick their way through casinos and art museums in spectacular actions, with equally spectacular loot: dollars, diamonds, Fabergé eggs. The genre is also popular on the other side of the sea, and perhaps the Poinger Klothieb has now been inspired to make a film series.

Because otherwise it is difficult to explain why someone should take the trouble to steal a mobile toilet – also known as a Dixi-Klo – from a construction site, as happened on Tuesday in the Ebersberg district. After more than two years of the pandemic, people are used to hoarding toilet paper. But a whole toilet? That’s a different house number.

In the meantime, was the thief hoping for big business? Even a business model? Franchise? His problem: according to the police report, the dixi toilet is only worth 1,000 euros. Although sewage companies are profit-oriented and quite profitable, it takes a lot of alchemical trickery to turn the brown stuff into gold. It seems more likely that he’ll bet on his own Hollywood blockbuster.

So maybe you have to imagine a person as a perpetrator who spends too much time in front of the television and who therefore desperately wants to end up in Dixieland and roamed the country sniffing around in search of a laid egg, even if it wasn’t from Fabergé . Did he go to confession after the deed was done? One does not know.

The reality is probably, as so often, much more banal and it’s just a juvenile prank or an administrative error. Then, unfortunately, nothing will come of the planned franchise. What a grab in the toilet…
