According to the Poingen police, a youth group from Markt Schwaben is behind the acts of violence on Halloween night in Poing. Three youths were kicked and beaten that night, and a short time later a cyclist was attacked and injured.
Examinations and the evaluation of evidence led the investigators from the Poing police station to track down members of the youth group from Markt Schwaben. In close coordination with the Munich II public prosecutor’s office and the Erding Criminal Police Inspectorate, several search warrants were carried out at the same time with the support of the riot police. According to the police, four young people aged between 14 and 17 and one adolescent were able to secure “extensive evidence”. The suspects are being investigated for dangerous bodily harm and serious breach of the peace.
