According to the police, a 45-year-old Poinger was bitten in the thigh by a free-running Doberman. The incident happened on Saturday around 10:45 p.m. on the Poinger market square near the railway underpass. The dog owner apologized to the bite victim, but then left with his animal in the direction of Bergfeldpark. The man is estimated to be in his mid-40s, about 1.75 meters tall and of slim build. Due to the injuries, a preliminary investigation into negligent bodily harm was started. Witnesses who can provide clues as to the identity of the dog owner are asked to contact the Poing police.
