Poing autumn market – finally market Sunday again – Ebersberg

After a year and a half corona break, the Poing Sunday market starts on this Sunday, October 24th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for its 32nd edition. Around 50 stalls and shops invite you to stroll and enjoy along the main street. The organizers are the municipality of Poing and the Poingen trade association. “After a long break, we are looking forward to a colorful autumn market, where you can finally see each other again in person and have a chat,” says the mayor and patron of the Poingen market Sunday, Thomas Stark.

In good time for All Saints’ Day there are arrangements and flowers to be bought on the market again this year. Of course, the Poingen wool bugs with their knitted goods and the stand of the Catholic Church are also there. The former support those in direct need in Poing with the proceeds, the latter support the Eastern European aid. Bird feeders, nesting boxes and wooden toys that come from our own workshop in Forstinning are made with great attention to detail. Elas Stoff-Manufaktur has the right textiles and applications for home-made things from the living room. The fabrics can be embroidered on site.

In addition to all kinds of snack bars, the organizers are also represented on site with stands. The trade association presents itself as a partner of local medium-sized companies as well as the tradespeople and the self-employed. He shows how he actively cultivates the network of the self-employed in Poing and how he supports his members with further training and social responsibility and works together with the community on the development of the Poing location. The municipality of Poing with its waste advice service can be found in the middle of the main street. For the first time, the barrier-free toilet wagon from the Ebersberg district is also being used.

Due to the pandemic, the municipality asks all visitors to observe the hygiene measures and to keep a minimum distance of one and a half meters between people. If this is not possible, a medical mask must be worn.
