Poetry slammer Leah Weigand: “One always cuts back on the human” – Economy

After a day in the lecture hall, Leah Weigand sits a little tired in her apartment in Marburg, the vintage furniture in the living room is reminiscent of a hip student café – or grandma’s room. The poetry slammer became known with a text that deals with her experiences as a caregiver. That’s why she was invited to some talk shows. But she is not a stage pig, but rather introverted. The 27-year-old is now studying medicine. On the coffee table are water, sticks of cheese and grapes.
