Poetic jazz singing in Ismaning – district of Munich

The fusion of two voices, in which lyrical beauty of sound unfolds in a contemporary way: what the singer Karoline Weidt and the singer Kilian Sladek and their ensemble “Amuse” perform could be described as poetic jazz. In the series “Jazz am Montag” they will perform on April 25th in the Seidl-Mühle and the large hall of the culture and education center with their kind of singing poetry to fill. In their arrangements and compositions, they aim to reveal the content of the words, to play around them, to spin them out and to tell stories from them in a painterly manner. The young, already well-known jazz singers, who are also proficient in unconventional vocal techniques such as scat singing, try together to achieve a creative, rhythmic energy and dynamic that also leads to direct interaction with the audience. The performance of the quintet “Amuse” begins at 8:30 p.m. Reservations about www.musikschule-ismaning.de/anmeldung-veranstaltungen or telephone 089/37 06 35 62-00.
