Podcast “Munich personally”: Priti Sarah Henseler from “Götterspeise”. – Munich

There are still many individual shops in the Glockenbach district. One of them is the “Götterspeise” by Priti Sarah Henseler. Here you will find fine chocolates, wine and other ideas for pleasure. In the SZ podcast “Munich Personally” she tells how she got into it and why chocolate is so fascinating for her.

Priti Sarah Henseler has fulfilled a dream with her shop Götterspeise in the Glockenbach district. She has been running the business for 20 years now. In the middle of the Corona period, she even expanded it to include a day café. The Food of the Gods is a shop that attracts attention. Henseler always decorates its shop windows colorfully according to the seasons. “I wanted to do something that would last,” says the 51-year-old.

In the SZ podcast “Munich Personally”, Henseler tells how she became a shopkeeper and what she particularly values. She talks about the changes in the Glockenbach district, about her childhood in India and what defines high-priced chocolate.

For the podcast of the Munich editorial team, the People editor Sabine Buchwald, the social editor Jana Jöbstl and Ulrike Heidenreich and René Hofmann, the heads of the Munich, Region and Bavaria departments, alternately meet with very different guests. They pick them up at their place of residence or their place of work and accompany them on their personal route. Sometimes by tram, bus, subway or S-Bahn, a taxi or even on foot.

It’s about current projects and very personal plans, about topics that move the city. The SZ podcast team invites people who have a connection to Munich. You live in the city or you are visiting. They come from the fields of politics, gastronomy, culture, sports or media.
