Pliening – farmer overrun by tractor – Ebersberg

A serious industrial accident occurred on Saturday morning in a field in Pliening, as the police reported. A 70-year-old farmer fell from his tractor for an unexplained cause and was run over in the chest area by the vehicle, which weighed more than two tons. The man’s son heard of the accident and rushed to help the 70-year-old. “As if by a miracle,” said the police, the man was seriously injured, but not life-threatening. The farmer was brought to the clinic in Landshut by the rescue helicopter. The Poing police have started investigations into the course of the accident. According to the current state of investigation, however, third-party negligence can be ruled out.
