A powerful bang startled the residents of the Rotkehlchenweg in Planegg on Wednesday morning. It turned out that around 10.30 a.m. there had been a deflagration in the pellet heating system in the basement of a terraced house. Nobody got hurt. According to the police, patrol cars and the fire brigade were immediately ordered to the scene of the accident. The helpers were able to quickly clarify that no one was in the house at the time of the deflagration. The forces of Commissariat 13, who are responsible for fire crimes, were notified immediately and found that a technical defect must have led to the explosion. The house was severely damaged, doors in the basement were torn out and windows were broken. Overall, the property damage is estimated at just under 100,000 euros. Commissariat 13 of the Munich police headquarters took over the investigation.
