Planegg – subscription sale for Kupferhaus starts – district of Munich

Even if one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies is called “Much Ado About Nothing,” theater is often about everything. As boards that mean the world, the whole spectrum of human feelings and destinies can unfold there, whether in the form of tragedy, comedy or tragicomedy. Of course, stage art is having an increasingly difficult time in a time when the addiction to permanently available, entertaining entertainment dominates and a lot of noise is passionately produced in social media that means nothing.

In the new season of the theater series organized by the Kulturforum Planegg in the Kupferhaus, on the other hand, there are four opportunities to see productions that promise depth, class and poetry. Molière’s comedy “The Pranks of Scapin” (October 14), the mysterious character Jennerwein (December 10), the breathtaking rise and fall of the Lehman Brothers (January 28, 2023) and “The Winter’s Tale” (March 18, 2023) by same Shakespeare. Before each performance there is an introduction to the work (starting at 7:15 p.m.). Dramaturgs, directors or actors talk about the play or provide information about the background and development. The subscription sale in the Planegg town hall begins this Thursday, June 2nd.

“Due to the unstable times, the many changes and event cancellations caused by Corona, we have lost a few subscribers,” says Sabine Schopp from the Kulturforum. As is well known, this does not only apply to Planegg, in many places the potential audience is still struggling with a comeback.

Of course, a subscription is also worthwhile financially. Written orders are also possible. The order form is below www.kulturforum-planegg.de available. The subscription price is 90 euros for all four performances. For teenagers up to the age of 18 who are interested in the theatre, there is a youth subscription for only 36 euros.

Those who prefer to be inspired and moved by music also have the option of purchasing a subscription to the classical concert series (five events) at the Kupferhaus Planegg (or online). Guest performances in the coming season include the Hamburg wind quintet (September 23), the duo of violinist Ulf Schneider and pianist Jan Philip Schulze (November 18), the four experienced percussionists from Elbtonal Percussion (January 27, 2023), Claudio Bohórquez (cello) and pianist Péter Nagy (March 3, 2023) and Stefan Temmingh, one of the most sought-after virtuosos of the recorder, with his baroque ensemble The Gentleman’s Band (April 28, 2023) in the Würmtal. The subscription price for all five concerts is 95 euros. More information about https://www.kulturforum-planegg.de.
