Planegg – Panic cattle – District of Munich

Cattle and dogs are often not a good combination. This is known from the mountains, where alpine farmers warn hikers not to walk too close to herds of cattle, especially if they have a dog with them. Then you’d better avoid the herd, because cows are jumpy. This is now confirmed by an incident in Martinsried. According to the police, several cattle were apparently startled there on Saturday by a dog passing by. They tore down their pasture fence and ran onto the state road. Together with the Planegg fire brigade, helpful citizens and the farmer, a patrol from the Planegg police station was finally able to catch all the cattle again. There was no property damage, all cattle are doing well.
