A 57-year-old man in Planegg was seriously injured because his bike’s handlebars got stuck on a traffic light pole. According to the police, the man from the Munich district was on Thursday afternoon on the northern cycle path of Würmtalstraße when he missed a traffic light at the junction with Neurieder Weg and touched it with the handlebars. The cyclist fell on the road and suffered serious injuries, so he had to be taken to a hospital in an ambulance. Apparently there was no material damage to the bicycle, and the traffic light also remained undamaged.
