Plaion has announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for 2024

Publisher Plaion officially has a sequel to the role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance announced in 2018.

More to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As previously revealed via a leaked trailer, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 released later this year for PS5, Xbox Series consoles and PC. The game was officially revealed in a 13-minute game reveal video that showed the first trailer and gave more information about the plot and features. The game will take place on two maps, making it twice the size of the first game. The game’s combat system has been overhauled, with new ranged weapons such as crossbows and “early gunpowder weapons.” Plaion released a Switch version of the original title just last month. The game was ported to Nintendo’s console by Saber Interactive.

“Diving back into the heart-pounding world of 15th century Bohemia (Central Europe), Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 picks up where its predecessor left off and puts players in the shoes of Henry, the steadfast son of a blacksmith who lives in a turbulent story of revenge, betrayal and self-discovery,” reads the game’s description. “In this gripping sequel, players will traverse a carefully crafted medieval landscape, from the humble confines of a blacksmith shop to the grandeur of royal courts, as they navigate the treacherous currents of a kingdom torn apart by civil war.”
