It was one of the most sensational changes in the television industry this year: Pinar Atalay, 43, switched from the ARD “Tagesthemen” to the private broadcaster RTL in the summer and is now hosting the program “RTL Direkt” there at the same time. At lunchtime she has time for a conversation, in the evening it goes back to the transmitter.
