Pietro Lombardi is canceling his current tour after only three concerts due to the corona pandemic. The singer announced on Instagram. “It doesn’t feel right. It would be irresponsible of me to continue playing the tour,” said the 29-year-old in a video that he published on his website.

Pietro Lombardi postpones tour – tickets remain valid

The canceled concerts should be rescheduled in March 2022. There are no specific dates yet. He hopes “that everything will have got better by then,” said the singer. He also confessed in the Instagram post how difficult it was for him to make the decision: “I’m very sad. My big dream would have come true. To play in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, I’ve dreamed of it since I was 17.” The safety and health of the crew and fans took precedence. “It was my decision. We could and should have continued to play, but that’s the way it is. We have to be strong now. We can only stick together as a team,” said the singer in the video.

Lombardi’s tour started on November 25th in Dortmund, followed by further appearances in Luxembourg and Zurich. “I’m very happy about everyone who was there. You make me so proud.
