Jake Ricker discovered his love of photography in high school. He soon discovered that he liked the most raw, unadorned images he could take on the go. He found exactly the right job for it: he became a bicycle courier in San Francisco. Ricker says about this photo: “I came from the cinema with my girlfriend. There had been a chase. The cop apparently rammed the other car, the vehicles spun and crashed into the row of shops.”
