Schiff tweeted that he owns “billions of bitcoins” and will continue to buy BTC, and for this reason. He will continually bash Bitcoin. hoping for it to come off “Little bastards” and gradually bought all 21 million BTC so that he could have “All the moons are their own.”
In a subsequent tweet, he said he wanted to make sure everyone understood it was his April 1st joke, “I want to make sure no one takes my April Fools’ jokes into account. serious I don’t want to be responsible for the fools who buy Bitcoin.”
