The cryptocurrency price previously tumbled to a low of $881 on Binance, its lowest level since December 2020.
However, after a small increase, ETH has recovered to $1,100 on Binance, but overall market sentiment remains bearish.
Ether is now down nearly 80 percent from a record high of $4,878 reached in November.
