On August 20th, the Hamburg State Opera “Playing Trump” its premiere. The music for this mono opera was written by Bernhard Lang, the libretto was created by Dieter Sperl based on original speeches by Donald Trump, the director is the Hamburg director Georges Delnon, and Donatienne Michel-Dansac will be the only one on the rehearsal stage at the State Opera. The singer, who was born in Nantes, is an outstanding interpreter of contemporary music – if you want to know what kind of philanthropic virtuosity she is capable of, you just have to listen to her recording of Georges Aperghis’ “Récitations”. Michel-Dansac lives in Paris and Nice, where she recently became head of the “Center National de Création Musicale (CNCM)”.
