It’s been a few years since a real “Percy Jackson” book was published. Sure, things had never actually been quiet for the son of Poseidon. He fought against the mighty Titans in the sequel series “Heroes of Olympus”, is part of the spin-off “Adventures of Apollo”, there are comics and short stories and recently Disney+ filmed the first book as a series. But the original “Percy Jackson” series, which first sparked enthusiasm for the young demigod and his world in 2005, has, strictly speaking, ended long ago – the last book was published in German 13 years ago. It was over. Until now. With “The Cup of the Gods” a sequel has now been released, the long-awaited sixth part.
