British acting star Tom Holland has long struggled with his height. Even after he landed the role of Spider-Man.

He is one of the top stars in Hollywood, but until then, the British actor Tom Holland (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) struggled with his height.

“At the beginning of my career, I had a lot of self-doubt,” said the almost 1.73 meter tall Holland of the German Press Agency in London. That was also the case when he got the role as “Spider-Man”. “But the people around me made it clear to me that it’s nothing to worry about.” And ultimately he is the one who stands in front of the camera and shoots the scenes. “So it doesn’t bother me.”

“I can not change it”

Holland, who is dating fellow actress Zendaya, often jokes about his own size. In his film “Uncharted”, which is currently showing in cinemas, it also becomes a humorous topic. The 25-year-old no longer has self-doubt today. “One should really only have self-doubt about things that one can change,” said the “Spider-Man” actor. “I can’t suddenly grow a few inches. If I could, dammit, I would. But I can not change it. So there’s no point in wasting energy on that.”

Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake in the theatrical adaptation of the PlayStation game Uncharted. In the film by director Ruben Fleischer, he embarks on an adventurous journey around the world with his co-star Mark Wahlberg to find a lost pot of gold.
