Penultimate day of the campaign in a context where abstention could break records…

07h29: The candidates multiply

The presidential candidates are multiplying on Thursday, the penultimate day of the campaign, between trips and last meetings in the run-up to an election which sees the gap between the two favorites, Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, narrowing every day.

This evening, Yannick Jadot is expected in Nantes at 6 p.m. The communist candidate Fabien Roussel gives him a meeting in Lille at 6:30 p.m. At the same time, far-right candidate Marine Le Pen will speak at the Parc des expositions in Perpignan.

On the LR side, Valérie Pécresse, neck and neck with Eric Zemmour in the polls, will be alongside Laurent Wauquiez in Lyon at 7 p.m. His far-right rival will continue with a meeting at the Palais des sports in Paris at 8 p.m. while Philippe Poutou, who stood out on Wednesday with his punchlines, will be in Toulouse.
