Croatia made it through to the World Cup semi-finals by beating on penalties. Brazil initially took the lead in extra time, but the Croatians equalized just minutes before the end. The hero of the Croatians is once again keeper Livakovic.

When the Brazilians looked set to win, Croatia equalized through Bruno Petkovic in the 117th minute and it went to penalties.
