Peggy case: The story of the bus shelter – Bavaria

When the tracks suddenly led to him, Manuel S. claimed that a lifeless nine-year-old had been handed over to him in the middle of Lichtenberg – at a bus stop. He later retracted this. But now he is being sued for damages.

In terms of the file material alone, the Peggy case is probably one of the most extensive criminal cases in post-war history. In total, the officers processed 6,400 leads and carried out 3,600 interrogations; the case files contain 450 folders. It contains almost 250 statements from various specialists alone.
