It all started as a child with a desire for rebellion. “I come from a family of jazz musicians. When I was little, I used to scream that I wanted to be a harpist. I started at 4 years old, I went to the conservatory, entered competitions, and to devote myself fully to it, I organized myself to pass my baccalaureate by correspondence. It was a very intensive program,” she says.
“An incredible crush”
So when the harp “became unbearable” to her because a teacher undermined her confidence, she wonders what’s left. The taste for the stage has not left her. Why not become an actress? Pauline Chagne enrolled in Cours Florent, specializing in theater and musical comedy.
