On the anniversary of Paul Walker’s death, Vin Diesel shared a story with the world that describes the depth of their friendship.
Paul Walker (1973-2013) died in a car accident eight years ago. His former colleague Vin Diesel (54) remembers his friend on the day he died – and a very special moment of friendship with him.
On Instagram, Diesel describes a day on the set of “Fast & Furious 4” when he was worried about the impending birth of his first child. Walker would have advised him not to wait outside the delivery room. “Go in there, cut the umbilical cord and it will be the best day of your life,” Diesel quotes him. He continues: “Of course you spoke from experience, you already had your own angel. It’s been eight years now … And not a day goes by when I don’t think about the brotherhood that we two had … But you know that. “
“How could I have known?”
Diesel shares on the text a photo of Walker’s daughter Meadow at her wedding, her bridesmaid at her side: Diesel’s daughter Haina Riley Sinclair (13). “The angel you prepared me for in the most beautiful way with your brotherly advice is the same angel the precious Meadow asked to be her bridesmaid. How could I have known that back in 2008 on the set of ‘Fast. .. ‘But maybe you did it in a way [gewusst]. “
Meadow is also reminiscent of her father
Walker’s 23-year-old daughter Meadow also remembered her father with a heartwarming post on Instagram. She shared a photo, on which the actor holds her in his arms as a baby and kisses her on the cheek. She wrote: “I love and I miss you infinitely. Today and every other day I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend.”
