The US actor Paul Herman is dead. The “Sopranos” star, known from numerous gangster films, was 76 years old.
The US actor Paul Herman (1946-2022) is dead. The star from the hit series “The Sopranos” was 76 years old. This was confirmed by his longtime colleague Michael Imperioli (56) on Instagram. He captioned a photo of Herman: “Our friend and colleague Paul Herman has passed away.” He was “a great guy”, “first class storyteller” and “damn good actor”. As reported, among other things, by the “Daily Mail”., Herman died on March 29 – his birthday. The cause of death is not known.
“Paulie has lived around the corner from me for the past few years and I’m glad we were able to spend some time together before he left,” said Michael Imperioli. “I will miss him.” Paul Herman played the supporting role of Peter “Beansie” Gaeta in “The Sopranos.” Imperioli celebrated his breakthrough in 1999 with the series. He embodied Mafioso Christopher Moltisanti until 2007.

Paul Herman was not only seen in “The Sopranos”, but also in numerous gangster films. He had minor roles in The Color of Money (1986), Good Fellas (1990) and Casino (1995). He was also involved in “Crazy Heart” (2009), “Silver Linings” (2012) and most recently in “The Irishman” (2019).
