Pascal Dupraz appointed coach of ASSE

AS Saint-Étienne and Pascal Dupraz concluded an agreement on Tuesday entrusting the management of the professional team to the latter. The former footballer, who became a technician at the end of his career, will have the task of surrounding and supporting a group aware of the difficulty of their current situation.

To lead this major fight, the native of Annemasse will be able to rely on his various experiences. That, in particular, which had brought the Evian Thonon Gaillard FC of the CFA (N2) to the elite and a final of the Coupe de France in 2013. That, then, outstanding, which had offered the maintenance of Toulouse FC in the League 1 Uber Eats. Yet behind ten points by the first relegation ten days from the end of the championship, the TFC, carried by the momentum instilled by the Haut-Savoyard, had ended up escaping thanks to a success at the last day.

After taking his place on the bench at Stade Malherbe Caen for the last two seasons, Pascal Dupraz joined Forez with the ambition of removing the Greens from the relegation zone. To ensure this mission, the new coach of AS Saint-Étienne will be able to count on Baptiste Hamid, the faithful physical trainer who accompanies him and who will join the current staff.

Pascal Dupraz will lead his first training session on Wednesday December 15 before being officially presented at 2 p.m. at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium by the Executive Chairman, Jean-François Soucasse, and the Sports Coordinator, Loïc Perrin.
