Participation in the second round at 5 p.m. is 63.23%

The French were therefore less mobilized at the polls this Sunday. Turnout in the second round of the presidential election stood at 5 p.m. in mainland France at 63.23%, down more than two points compared to 2017 (65.30%), during the same duel between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, announced the Ministry of the Interior.

This figure also marks a decline of almost two points compared to the first round (65.00%) on April 10.
